About

Originally from Buenos-Aires (Argentina) and based in Nantes (France), I graduated from a business school and passionate about photography. I had the chance to travel from a young age with my family and, growing up, I kept this desire to discover new places and different cultures. With school and work, I continued to travel the world and developed my love for photography.

The 5 firsts series of my website illustrate my most recent trips with portraits and landscapes. The last series "minimal", contains experimental and abstract photos taken in France.

Do not hesitate to contact me for any reason whatsoever (use or purchase of photos, questions about a trip ...).

Hope you'll have a good time checking out my photos!

Népal

I discovered Nepal in 2015, during a 2-months volunteering experience in the region of Chitwan, in the center of the country. Living in a Nepalese family and meeting isolated populations from the Himalayas, I tried to understand and apprehend their way of life, so different from Western cultures. Strongly influenced by the Buddhist religion (practiced by 80% of the population) and mainly rural (at 87%), the Nepalese attach great importance to the family and the customs of the country. The earthquake of april 2015 severely affected the country, but thanks to their exceptional resilience, the population is rebuilding their heritage with determination. This series of colorful photos illustrates a daily life imbued with simplicity and joy of living, despite a development index that has fallen behind.

Cuba

In 2015, I visited Cuba and its main cities on a two week sightseeing trip. Between Havana, Vinales, and Trinidad, I was transported to a unique atmosphere, out of time. With a communist policy and an embargo of more than 50 years, Cuba has remained "frozen" in another era. This situation is materialised by American cars from the 60s, colonial houses, and it is felt through the slow rhythm of life of the inhabitants. Although the school enrollment rate is high and the GDP gradually increases thanks to tourism, Cuban isolation is still evident in telecommunications for example, where only 25% of the inhabitants have access to internet, which is controlled by the state. .

In this short series of photos, I want to show that the beauty of the island has endured over time despite its delay in development.

Argentina

Argentina is a symbolic for my family; My parents lived there, my sister lives there, and I was born there. After having the opportunity to come back there several times, I was able to discover different parts of the country. Between Buenos Aires, Mendoza or Patagonia, the regions are very disparate. Buenos Aires concentrates 1/3 of the population and 75% of the country's wealth. The city mix a unique European architecture with a rhythmic Latin atmosphere. The rest of the country is rather made up of plains and mountain ranges, slightly modified by man. Despite regional disparities, one thing is common to all of Argentina: the passion of its inhabitants for football, meat and wine. On a daily basis, Argentines love to dance, laugh, share good moments and consume the country's products without moderation. Whether through landscapes or street atmospheres, this series aims to illustrate this contrasting country, which has never lost its authenticity.

Mexico

After a 2-months language exchange in 2012 and a 6-months internship in 2016, I took the time to discover Mexico and its incredible diversity. Whether in terms of culture, population, or landscapes, the country surprises and continuously amazes. Its history is marked by political instability and the Spanish invasion, which has fostered a real sense of nationalism, and the presence of Catholicism, practiced by 85% of the population. On a daily basis, some clichés about the country contain an element of truth (the presence of mariachis at local festivals, the consumption of tortillas, peppers, tequila, mezcal), but others are more distant, such as violence and narco-traffic, which does not reflect the daily life of Mexicans. While there are some areas to avoid, most areas feel safe and the joy of life is everywhere. With the photos of this series, I try to show the cultural richness and the beauty of the country, which breaks the preconceptions that we can have towards it.

Minimal

"Eliminate the details to keep only perfectly balanced elements". In my opinion, this sentence sums up the concept of minimalist photography which allows to focus your attention on the essential, and brings out the beauty of the subject. This series photographed in France, brings together refined images in bright colors and black & white.

Colombia

Like Mexico, Colombia surprised me with its great cultural diversity and its regions with very varied landscapes. I had the opportunity to go there in November 2019, for a 2 month backpacking road-trip. Among the regions that I was able to visit and photograph, there is firstly the Guajira desert located at the northern end of the country, which is the poorest and most remote part of the territory. Further down, still in the north, there is the Caribbean region endowed with paradisiacal beaches and lush jungles, where indigenous populations still reside (despite a significant tourist presence which harms their tranquility). The Andean region, where the cities of Bogota and Medellin are located, is the most crowded and wealthy part of the country. Finally, the Amazon region located in the south is mainly made up of tropical forest and crossed by the Amazon river. Through these photos, I want to show the beauty and the cultural richness that Colombia can offer, far from a negative drug traffic image that mostly belongs to the past.
